Travel Plans

I’m going on a trip!

One of the small advantages of being a self-employed artist type is that I can, usually, slip away for a short trip without telling anybody. When I get back, everything will be exactly as I left it, and I can pick right up where I left off. Heck, with modern mobile technology I can ignore and procrastinate as well on the road as I can at home (this is a joke, for those who aren’t sure). In the end, none will be wiser.

This is gonna be a long trip, though.

A month. That’s one-twelfth of a year. A not-insignificant stretch of 30-odd days.

Which is probably more than enough time for a collector, customer, or art-lover to wonder why I haven’t been in touch or where their art is.

So, I’ll be away from the studio and shuffling around the east coast of the US. Probably. That’s the planned destination. It’s not entirely inconceivable that the winds will blow me off my course a bit before my return to Japan.

Some details

  • Away from the Studio dates: September 22 - end of October, 2019

  • During this time, I should have access to email, messaging apps, etc.

  • I’ll have basic access to the website, so I might be able to make minor updates, blog, check in on the shop, etc.

  • I will not have access to artwork, my printer, my stock of postcards or prints, shipping materials, records and documents, images of my artwork, and a whole bunch of other stuff I can’t think of right now.

This will be, for the most part, a personal trip, but if time and situation permit, I’d love to check out new galleries, shows, etc.

If you’ll be in the Northeast US and are interested in getting in touch, pop on over to my Contact page and send me a message. Let’s see what we can do.
